MAINTENANCE / HANDYMAN
Licensed Veterinary Technician – $27/hour
Jordan Valley Animal Clinic is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in East Jordan, Michigan.
We are an independently owned small-animal practice focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine, modern diagnostics, dentistry, and advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Position highlights:

Responsibilities include patient care and restraint, anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical and dental assistance, laboratory testing, radiology, medication administration, client education, medical-record documentation, and general treatment-area duties.
Applicants must hold a current Michigan veterinary technician license or be eligible for licensure. We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

MAINTENANCE / HANDYMAN
Jordan Valley Animal Clinic is looking for a reliable, handy person to help us with maintenance and improvement projects around the clinic.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys fixing things, working with their hands, and tackling a variety of projects. The work will vary depending on your experience and abilities—we always seem to have something that needs to be repaired, improved, built, painted, or updated!
Projects may include:
• General building maintenance and repairs
• Painting and drywall work
• Minor carpentry and construction projects
• Installing shelving, cabinets, fixtures, and equipment
• Basic plumbing or electrical projects, if qualified
• Outdoor/property maintenance
• Furniture and equipment assembly
• Clinic improvement and remodeling projects
• Troubleshooting and those random “can you fix this?” projects that always seem to come up
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable working around animals and a busy veterinary clinic.
This could be part-time or project-based depending on the person and availability. We have plenty of projects, and the type of work we can offer will depend largely on your skill set.
Compensation will be based on experience and abilities.
